Modern Technology with Old Fashioned Quality

Meet Thayer Tool's Ownership Team

It's hard to believe that the these three people have altogether over one hundred years of experience - not only working in the machining industry - but working right here at Thayer Tool & Die, just a few miles from Jamestown in New York's beautiful Chautauqua region south of Buffalo.

John Thayer (center right) began the business in a small shop next to his home in 1975. Don Nichols and Jenny Nicklas were both there for most of the five additions to the building since then. The three watched each others' families grow up together, and now that John's retired from the business, Don and Jenny are busy writing a new chapter of growth in Thayers' long success story. Today Thayer Tool enjoys being a minority supplier as a certified woman-owned business.

Thayer Tool & DieBe sure to give Jenny and Don a call for a quote for your next parts or assembly project. You'll appreciate their courtesy and attention to detail with every aspect of your project's workflow.   What's more, be sure to ask Jenny herself for details about how your business can benefit by working with a WOSB certified subcontractor in today's competitive environment!

America has its economic challenges today, but the skill and attitude that helped to make it great in the first place is still alive and well at Thayer Tool in Ashville, NY: Solid people determined to make their customers happy with quality product, prompt deliveries, and down-home courtesy and respect.
